Judging Criteria

Performers will be scored out of 100 by a panel of industry professionals based on the following:

Musicality – connection to the music, rhythm and timing

Storytelling – emotion, intention and ability to take the audience on a journey

Stage Presence – confidence, charisma and command of the stage

Technicality – control, execution and level of skill

Floorwork Flow – transitions, creativity and use of the floor

Participant Agreement

Please read carefully before agreeing.

Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in CIRQUE DU TWERK involves physical activity including floorwork, dance, heels and performance, which carries inherent risks. I voluntarily accept full responsibility for any injury, loss or damage that may occur before, during or after the event, including arrival and departure.

Fitness & Capability

I confirm that I am physically and mentally fit to perform and have the appropriate training, experience and ability for my discipline. I agree to disclose any injuries, medical conditions, accessibility needs or limitations in advance.

Performance Requirement

I understand that CIRQUE DU TWERK is a floorwork-focused competition, and I agree that my performance will be majority floor-based and aligned with the event’s artistic direction. I agree that I am available 22nd August 2026 to perform in the producers chosen venue - Tallaght Theatre

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless CIRQUE DU TWERK, Sideshow Dramas, the organisers, producers, venue, staff, contractors, judges and associated parties from any and all liability, claims or damages arising from my participation, including negligence.

Safety & Compliance

I agree to follow all safety guidelines and instructions from the organisers, Stage Manager and venue staff. I understand that any act deemed unsafe, inappropriate or technically unworkable may be altered or removed at the organisers’ discretion without refund.

Conduct

I agree to act professionally and respectfully at all times. I understand that drug use, excessive intoxication, aggression, or failure to follow event rules may result in removal from the event without refund.

Media & Promotion

I grant CIRQUE DU TWERK and Sideshow Dramas full rights to photograph, film and record me and my performance, and to use this material for promotional, marketing, archival and commercial purposes across all platforms without compensation.

Personal Filming

I understand that I may film my own performance unless otherwise stated and may use this footage for personal and professional use.
